The shatterproof Active View display of the UP405S uses hidden LED lighting to display the customizable boot-up logo, as well as channel, radio, and volume information with full clarity under both daytime and nighttime conditions.

Long Shift Life Battery
The UP405S is designed with power efficiency in mind and optimizes battery consumption to provide up to 100 hours of operation in standby mode. A powerful 1500 mAh Lithium-Ion battery allows the UP405S to deliver up to 15 hours of operation in digital/analog mode.

Multiple Audio Profiles
The UP405S allows users to select from 10 preset audio profiles. Each profile offers unique levels of equalization to enhance, treble, mid-range, and/or bass frequencies to provide an improved overall audio experience and help compete with noisy work environments.

Bluetooth Connectivity
The UP series includes Bluetooth functionality for over-the-air configuration programming and software updates. Using our powerful smartphone or PC-based software tools lets you skip the physical connections, driver installations, and other cumbersome steps typically involved, to maximize work efficiency out in the field.

Delivering clear and loud voice communication even in noisy environments, the UP405S includes advanced AI-based noise cancellation technology that decreases background noise by up to 30dB, ensuring reliable and intelligible voice calls.

Supports conventional analog, conventional digital, and mixed modes. The ability to switch between modes allows the UP405S to communicate with traditional analog radios, providing a cost-effective and flexible migration path for organizations transitioning from analog to digital mobile radio systems.

Dual-time slot Communication in DMO Mode
Direct Mode dual-time slot technology allows the UP405S to achieve two groups of calls at a given frequency simultaneously, which doubles communication efficiency by consuming fewer frequency resources.
